"Armadillo Den"

A Texas armadillo on sun-soaked collage.

A collaged armadillo walks a desert of 70's ovals, serape stripes, and a lone saguaro. Ink sits in the grain so no two dens read the same.

Made for entryways, music rooms, and anyone who likes their Southwest with a wink.

The studio
Each piece is designed and crafted by Hector & Becca in Austin, TX. The process begins with cutting, sanding, and prepping the wood by hand. We the use a combo of uv ink and acrylic paint to engrain the image onto the wood. No white ink is used allowing the wood grain to create contrast.  Every print (except small) is numbered and signed.

Frames add about 1.5" on each side.  Orientation follows the artwork.
